Set up BYOD printing on your device

PaperCut Printing

The school uses PaperCut for printing. Once set up, you can print from any device to any school printer. Your prints will be held until you release them at a printer.

Select your device type:

Log in to PaperCut

Visit the PaperCut portal and sign in with your school credentials.

Go to "Set up my devices"

Once logged in, click on the Set up my devices tab in the left sidebar or top navigation.

Download and Install

Select Computer and follow the prompts to download and install the PaperCut software for your operating system (Windows or macOS).

Installation tips:

  • On Windows, run the downloaded installer as Administrator
  • On macOS, drag the app to your Applications folder
  • You may need to allow the app through your firewall

Start Printing

Once installed, you can print from any application. Select "PaperCut" or "Follow-Me Print" as your printer. Your print job will be held until you release it at any school printer.

To release your print: Go to any school printer, tap your student ID card on the reader (or log in on the screen), and select your print job.

Common Questions

How much does printing cost?

Black & white prints are 5c per page. Colour prints are 20c per page. Your print balance is linked to your student account.

How do I add credit to my account?

Visit the school office to add credit to your print account. You can also check your balance in the PaperCut portal.

My print job isn't showing at the printer?

Make sure you're connected to WiFi. Print jobs expire after 24 hours. If you're still having issues, visit the IT Help Desk in the Computer Lab at lunch times.
